Beyond Pick Up

Ok. First magtataglish nalang ako dito feeling ko naman Filipino tayong lahat LOL. So it’s my 2nd time sarging mula nang madiscover ko ang Pick Up Arts. My very first approach happened inside S.M mall dito sa Laguna and I could say nagcrash and burn ako haha but of course never wanted to quit. So nang ininvite ako ng classmate ko to go clubbing sa MANOR I nagagree agad akong sumama. So here’s what happened that night:
(By the way FIRST time ko pong pumasok sa isang CLUB kasi before knowing the GAME, I thought magaaksaya lang ako ng panahon at pera sa mga ganung klase ng lugar.)

So pagdating namin dun, naasar agad ako kasi amoy usok sa buong lugar as in hindi ako makahinga. Pero in a while nasanay din ako then got a few drinks to pump up my confidence. I was standing at the bar side of the club in a while pero walang nangyayare. So I joined my friends on the dance floor to enjoy. As we dance, nakita ko yung kaklase kong may kasayaw na HB7. Later, my friend stopped dancing with her. Tinanong ko siya bakit hindi niya kinakausap at nakikipagsayaw lang. Sabi niya di daw niya alam ang sasabihin. Then I told him kung pwedeng ako nalang kumausap dun. He said “ok lang sige kunin mo number ah? TAGA UST DIN YAN PHARMA ANG COURSE (With matching tawa)” LOL. Later I could use the COURSE information in HER SHIT TEST.

Without a lot of experience, I felt so much anxiety but decided to just approach rather to go home na wala man lang nangyare at nasayang ang pagpunta ko dun. Paglapit ko, maraming AMOG na nakikipagusapa sa kanya sa dance floor. As in nakapalibot sa kanya, hindi ko alam kung friends niya yung mga yun pero feeling ko hindi. So I took a deep breath and started saying my opener. Remember we were on the dance floor while having this conversation so we talked by leaning into each other so that we can hear.

Me: “May tanong ako”

Her: “Ano?”

Me: “Sinong mas nagsisinungaling, lalaki o babae?”

Her: (looking at me in a way na parang naweirdohan sa tinanong ko) “Lalaki”

Me: “Oh? Bakit naman?”

Her: “Kasi manloloko?”

Me: “Haha hindi naman lahat ah, bakit ang babae ba hindi pwedeng manloko? Tsaka diba mas madaldal
ang babae kaysa sa lalaki kaya mas madalas silang magsinungaling?” (I know It was all BS what im saying but anyways it’s cool LOL)

Her: “Haha ok kung yun ang tingin mo”

Me: Do you believe in ESP? (from Mystery’s Routine)

Her: “Umm Oo?”

Me: “Ok Pili ka ng number from 1-4”

Her: “Ok”

Me: “Isipin mong mabuti ah?”

Her: “Ok sige”

Me: (looking into her eyes) “Number 3?”

Her: “Oh my gush! How did you know?!”

Me: “Hahahaha. Gusto mo isa pa?”

Her: “Sige sige!” (enthusiastically)

Me: “Ok ngayon naman from 1-10”

Her: “Ok na”

Me: (looked into her eyes again) “7?”

Her: “Wrong! It’s 8!”

Me: “At least malapit na diba? LOL”

Her: (laughing)

*the AMOGS now can’t talk to her now because she’s all fascinated with me and they feel BETA now

Me: “Do you want to talk sa mas private? Yung hindi masyadong malakas yung music?”

Her: “Saan?”

Me: pointing at the side of the stairs

Her: “OK” (leaving with me while putting my hand on her shoulders/NAKAAKBAY, I was like SH**! I
did it! Hahaha)

Me: “San ka nga pala nagaaral?”

Her: “UST”

Me: “Talaga?! UST din ako”

Her: “Whoah! Anong course mo?”

Me: “Biology”

Her: “Really?! Biology din ako e!” (akala niya hindi ko alam na pharma siya hahahahaha!)

Me: “Sinungaling ka namumukhaan ko lahat ng Bio students sa UST hindi ka Bio”

Her: “Hindi Bio talaga ko!” (this was a SHIT test)

Me: (giving her the routine the CUBE by NEIL STRAUSS) “Osige gusto mo hulaan ko personality mo?”

Her: “Ummm pano? Ok sige”

Me: “May itatanong ako sayong 3 Questions sagot mo ng honest ok?”

Her: “Ok”

Me: “Imagine you were in a dessert and you see this CUBE, How big is it? (she said Big) then what color is it? (she said RED) lastly is it something you can see through or is it solid? (she said SOLID)

Me: “Gusto mo malaman ibig sabihin nun? WALA! hahahaha”

Her: “I hate you!” (while smiling and punching my shoulders)

Me: “Joke lang!” ang ibig sabihin ng malaki ang CUBE ibig sabihin malaki confidence mo sa sarili
mo, then yung red color of passion, ibig sabihin aggressive ka tsaka demanding sa mga bagay bagay, then lastly, SINUNGALING KA TALAGA KASI SOLID YUNG CUBE MO HINDI MO PINAPAKITA SA MGA TAO YUNG TOTOONG FEELINGS MO. YOU DON’T TRUST PEOPLE.

Her: “Oh my god! I hate you! Pano mo nalaman yun??”

Me: “Hahaha so nagsisinungaling ka nga, hindi ka bio?”

Her: “Ummmm” (I was observing her eye movement, another routine by STYLE)

Me: “See, when youre thinking, your eye movement goes up and to the right ibig sabihin nagsisinungaling ka”

Her: “Hahahahaa! Anong name mo?” (this is the freaking IOI I wanted to have since I approached her my confidence come bursting out of me when she asked my name)

Me: “I’m Karlo (Forgot to say TOV instead) Ikaw?”

Her: “Shyla”

Me: “Wow cool name Shy ka? Hahahahaha”

Her: “Hahaha nooo malaki nga confidence ko diba? LOL”

Me: “Hahahaha osige kung malaking confidence mo gusto mo laro tayo ng game, bet tayo. Kapag nanalo ako bibili mo ko ng drinks, kapag nanalo ka bibili kita ng drinks ano deal?” (I will now do the 5 questions routine of NEIL STRAUSS)

Her: “SURE! Hahahaha”

Me: “Okay, magtatanong ako sayo ng 5 questions, kailangan mong sagutin ng mali”

Her: “Haa?”

Me: “Kunyare tinanong ko POGI ba ko, ang isasagot mo HINDI. Gets? hahahaha”

Her: “Ikaw yata ang malaki confidence ah! Hahaha ok ok game na”

Me: “First question, nasang bansa tayo? (she said U.S.A), Second nasang city tayo? (nakalimutan ko na sagot niya), third anong panggalan ko? (she said Michael), *here comes the make or break question* Ummmm, ilan na yung natanong ko?? (She said “Three”) BOOOM!!! Huli ka!!!!! Hahahahahaha!

Her: “EFFFF! I hate you! Hahahahahaha! Ok what do you want to drink?”

Me: “Kahit ano ikaw na bahala”
(while we were on the bar, we were having a lot of kinos and talking of random subjects just to keep the conversation flowing and I would say it was great)

While we were talking my friend approached me and said “Tara uwi na tayo andyan na yung sasakyan”
So I told her that were going to leave and I would love to hang out with her next time. She said “Sure” I said “So pano yung contacts?” She held her hand asking for my phone. I give her my phone and she give me hers and we exchanged numbers. After the exchanging of numbers, hinatid niya ko sa exit ng club. As we stood there, i bid her goodbye and gave her a kiss on her right cheek. Tapos tuwang tuwa ako sa reaction ng BOUNCER sa club tinapik ako bigla tapos sabi "ANG LAKAS MO!" hahahahahahaha!

Until now we are still texting each other and building rapports and comforts through texts and I would say it’s a good experience for me and I’m having a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy this post. Will be posting as soon as I manage to sarge again. ROCK AND ROLL!
